Trust, Experience, and the Joy of Making People Look Great are what it’s all about!
Most people don’t like the way they look. “My face is too narrow!” “My smile is crooked!” “I’m not tall enough.” “I’m not photogenic.” These and countless other concerns come to me from clients on every shoot that I accept. Well, I’m here to tell you: You are beautiful!
All of us have flaws! Laying it all out for the camera takes more than courage. It takes trust. That’s why you need to trust that the person holding the camera has the experience to capture you in the best light possible while celebrating who you are and everything about you. A portrait should say something about the person. You didn’t come off of an assembly line and you certainly shouldn’t be treated like you were. Every time I touch the camera, whether it be shooting magazine covers of Olympic figure skaters, or covering a wedding, or educating new photographers about the ins and outs of their gear, people come first. Although I shoot weddings, headshots, athletes, models, business people, and professionals of all shapes and sizes, the focus always remains on the client and building that trust.
I’ve recently relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the unique people of this great state!
Let me know how I can make you look wonderful today!
